Restorative Yoga

Restorative yoga is all about relaxing the nervous system, releasing muscular tension, and creating a calmer mind.  It involves lots of props and hands-on adjustments to help each student completely relax into every pose.  Most poses will be lying down or seated and will be held for an extended period of time (usually from 5 to 20 minutes).

Although suitable for everyone, Restorative yoga can be particularly beneficial to those who are injured, suffering from depression or anxiety, or for those who would like a more gentle yoga practice.
